Antonio Romero

Valencian designer with more than 50 years in front of an ideal: to create small piece of art, that call jewels, and that flow of its imagination as if of another thing as natural as to breathe it was.

We see him usually in the media, in an important event, an interview on television about trends in the world of jewelry or debating about the needs of the sector as representative of the Valencian Jewelers but above all things we will see him at the head of a project, become a familiar brand in the last decades, designing and creating fine jewelry of great inspiration and attending personally the needs of its clients in search of a unique and exclusive.  Antonio is able to take advantage of specific techniques that favor a quality product with the finest and most elaborate artisan techniques that enable the creation of unique and exclusive works of art.

In his most associative and institutional facet we will point out that he has been Founder and President of the Stylist Circle (1985), Vice President (1987) and President (1989) of the International Jewelery Fair of Valencia, and Master of the Guild of Jewelers and Silversmiths Valencia from 1987 to the present.

During all these years he has received many awards and recognitions for his work, also highlighting the innumerable exhibitions of which the exhibition could be named El Oro en la Moda”  in the Joan Miró Museum (Barcelona), the Universal exhibition of Sevilla , the exhibition  “Un siglo de Joyería y Bisutería Española 1890-1990” in Mallorca, participating in numerous books as "Discovery" book tribute to the innovation of artisans of the Valencian Community for the 5th centenary of the discovery of America, making for the occasion an exclusive bracelet of great originality and beauty called "Mares como Zafiros Azules”.

Regarding his prizes, just list a few such as Premio en Solitario de Prestigio,  Premio Surrealismo De Beers 1983, “Accésit de Oro”  awarded by Intergold in the contest "Brindis Iberjoa85" and in 1987 "Second Prize Intergold "in Iberjoya, and the most recent Handicraft Prize 2005 awarded by the Cámara de Comercio de Valencia and delivered personally by the very honorable President of the Generalitat D. Francisco Camps for the earrings" El Brillo es Rosa ", a modern creation and of stylized lines made in white gold, brilliant and kuncitas.

They are, in general, specific appointments of a lifetime of dedication and support to the Spanish product of quality, and above all a constant commitment to professionalism, craftsmanship as a competitive and modern product, and youth for the city of Valencia as a Master Mayor of the Guild, enhancing the School of Jewelry in such a way that it is recognized throughout Spain as one of the best endowed and with a higher level of training.
